Tuesday night and my partner and i decided to head out for a quick bite to eat, so i just pulled on this new grey T-shirt i had recently purchased, which is super soft, and super cute, and i love the raw hems - giving it that little edge. Teamed it up with my grey washed skinny denims and a pair of black pumps. Literally a quick no brainer of an outfit. Silver bangles and big silver hoops, hair up in a ponytail and I'm ready to roll.

Off to dinner and i decided to dress in the brightest pieces i had, with a bright blue v-neck dress, a bright yellow soft unstructured blazer and blue pumps to match. Let my hair down, went for a soft smokey eye and nude lips. Im like a magpie towards blue, turquoise blue, mint greens, cobalt blue, royal blue, i absolutely love them all! I just can't get enough of these colours. I spotted this beautiful bright yellow soft blazer/cardigan recently and i loved how easy it is to wear and glams up any outfit your wearing, from an all black, to an all white to any other colour, its instant summer! Beautiful.

Sometimes, its all down to the accessories to make an outfit. You start off with a simple item at the back of your closet, maybe you've worn it a few times too many, and you just can't even bare to try it on anymore; but with a few accessories, you can completely re-invent, and create a new and fresh look. So instead of throwing away old pieces, try to see them in a new light, maybe its a plane t-shirt you always wore with your favourite jeans, how about tucking it in a pencil skirt, rolling up the sleeves and wearing a chunky statement necklace on top?

For this look, i wore a white lace dress, teamed it up with a green cardigan, and gave the whole outfit a twist by clinching it at the waist with a white belt, Some gold jewellery and a nude clutch, and its instant glam.

You don't have to look very far to be inspired for style, after all, styling is all about the details. The obvious inspiration of this dress came from nature's very own flowers/leaves. Beautiful bold and bright colours combined with the floral print hit the mark right between summer and autumn. The simplified graphics in the print and the black binding around the neckline gave it a more modern twist. And for this simple but creative neckline is why i really love this dress. The halter-neck is fastened on the back with a single button, and forms a V shape in the front. The dress is draw stringed at the waist so its very easy to wear, and its very light cotton fabric makes it just perfect for the hot weather. I bought this lovely dress in Debenhams from Redherring. For styling, due to the loud busy print of the dress, i kept my jewellery to a minimum wearing only pretty gold leaf shape earrings (inspired by the print on the dress) just to bring the whole look together.

On Tuesday night i went out with my girls. And of course thats just another reason to dress up and take many many  group photo's (you can see those on my instagram page: www.instagram.com/sheidafashionista). So what did i wear for this fun filled evening? I went dressed as a bumblebee of course! A black peplum skirt with bright yellow blouse tucked in, matching neon yellow heels, and a big chunky statement necklace to jazz up the outfit. This has to be one of my favourite skirts, its so perfectly fitted at the waist, not to high and not too long in length, and its just too darn cute, so chic and ladylike with the short sleeved blouse, and the necklace added some fun to an otherwise more formal ensemble. And you just got to love a pair of bright yellow heels.

Summer time and floral maxi's go hand in hand like peanut butter and jelly. It's just a must. So quick to wear, no fuss, and i especially like the fabrics that need no ironing. You just cannot withstand the heat of an iron on top of the already overwhelming Dubai heat at this time of the year. The lighter the fabric, the looser the cut, and the more bold and colourful the better. It screams summer, and you can find them everywhere. Team up with some pretty sandles and away you go. I love this little purple number, the top has spaghetti straps without the front being too low or too sexy, making it perfect for casual outings. The palm trees print is such a perfect match for Dubai's backdrop. I picked up a purple scarf to match (which i totally cannot remember where from), for when I'm popping inside under the air conditionings in the malls.

Bag: Dolce & Gabbana
